Time’s Ripple is a small, independent site that publishes practical aquarium guides (betta fish, planted tanks and the equipment behind them) alongside a smaller set of essays on philosophy and modern work.

Who reads the guides

Most readers arrive from search with a specific question about their own tank: what size heater a betta needs, which light suits live plants, whether a planted tank needs CO2. They read to make a decision, and they expect the numbers behind it.

Ways to work together

Affiliate partnerships. If you sell aquarium equipment that fits the guides, an affiliate program is the simplest option. Products are included only where they suit the reader’s situation, every affiliate link is marked, and each guide says near the top that it contains affiliate links.

Sponsored articles. A guide or essay written in Time’s Ripple’s voice on a topic related to your product. Sponsored pieces are labeled as sponsored at the top, and you don’t get approval over conclusions.

Product reviews. If you send a product for review, the article says so, and the review reports what the product does and doesn’t do. Coverage is not guaranteed to be positive, and products are not described as tested unless they actually were.

What doesn’t change

Every partnership is disclosed to readers. Brands don’t pay for placement in the regular guides and don’t approve articles before they are published. Products that don’t fit a reader’s needs aren’t recommended, whatever the commission.
